Ron Paul Would Erase Billions in Research Spending

Personally, I don’t find it appropriate to put a gun to my neighbor’s head and rob him in the name of “science research” (even assuming it was properly spent, which would be tremendously generous to the lumbering and corrupt bureaucratic apparatus that is government).

And then the nonsense about individual preferences because, you know, according to Mises, we’re all consumers.

CHOICE! OR ROBBERY!

You can’t make this shit up.

I seriously had a Ron Paul supporter say in reference to Obama saying No to the Keystone pipleine, “I don’t want the government to tell me what to buy.” Then later followed in the SAME paragraph with “The free market should tell us what is a good idea like it has in the past.” I continued on arguing with him and the last thing he basically said was that he agreed that solar and wind energy are great, but it “needed more research to be efficient.” 

Then I had another Ron Paul supporter tell me “Capitalism is the only fair system, any other system is robbery.” Then said I should be a stripper because that’s Capitalism at work.

Give it up already, fuck sakes.
